How Tier Points accrue
You don’t buy your way up the ladder — you earn it by playing. Tier Points are tied to the rake and wagering you generate, and the rate depends on where you play:
- Poker: you earn 100 TP for every US$1 of rake you generate at the tables.
- Casino: you earn 1 TP per US$2 wagered on slots, or 1 TP per US$6 wagered on featured table games. The actual rebate can vary by game type.
In practice, that means a regular poker grinder accumulates TP quickly through normal rake, while casino play accrues points at the per-wager rates above. Whichever way you play, your points stack toward the next tier on the ladder.

What “up to 80%” really means
You’ll often see Natural8 rakeback advertised as “up to 80%.” It’s important to read that honestly: 80% is the rate at the very top tier (Shark) — it is not a flat rate everyone receives. Your actual cashback percentage depends on which tier you’ve reached.
So a brand-new player sitting at the Fish tier is around the ~16% level, while the ~80% figure is reserved for players who have climbed all the way to Shark by generating an enormous amount of rake (10,000,000 TP). Most players land somewhere on the ladder in between. The “up to” wording is doing real work here — treat it as the ceiling, not the starting point.
Auto-credited, with GEMs on the side
